We perform WDI Inspections and Provide Clear Letters for Closing
Mosquito Elite Pest Control performs WDI Inspections for real estate agents and their clients. From the inspection, we will provide the Wood Destroying Insect Inspection Report, also known as the Clear Letter. You can count on our team to provide a quick turnaround from the inspection to the WDI report. Typically, this is within 24-48 hours; however, we do offer Same Day Appointments (SDA). That way, we can also perform WDI inspections and provide the report on the same day.

What do WDI inspections Include?
A properly executed WDI inspection includes a visual inspection of the home and foundation. At Mosquito Elite Pest Control, we look for evidence of any wood destroying insect activity. If the home is on a crawl space, the inspector will check for termite activity, wood destroying fungi, and wood destroying insects. For example, they will look for carpenter ants, termites, and wood boring beetles. They will also check for any signs of dry rot and wood rot. The inspector will check the moisture levels, as well as look for any other conducive conditions within the home. Their findings will be documented in the WDI report.
