1. Service Agreement
1. 1.1 Scope of Work: Services provided will address the pest issues described in the signed service agreement or invoice. Any additional pest control needs may incur additional charges.
2. 1.2 Scheduling: Service appointments will be scheduled based on mutual agreement. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure access to the property for scheduled Services. Missed appointments due to lack of access may result in rescheduling fees.
3. 1.3 Treatment Efficacy: Pest control results may vary due to factors outside our control, including weather, property conditions and pest activity. Follow-up treatments may be required to achieve desired results.
4. 1.4 Missed or Skipped Services: If two or more scheduled services are missed or skipped, the Client will be transitioned to a one-time service plan. The cost for the one-time service will be based on the current rate for such services at the time of scheduling.
2. Client Responsibilities
5. 2.1 Preparation: The Client must follow all preparation guidelines provided before treatment to ensure the effectiveness of Services.
6. 2.2 Notification: Inform the Company of any specific concerns, allergies, or health conditions that might be affected by the treatment.
7. 2.3 Post-Treatment Care: Follow all post-treatment guidelines provided by the Company to maintain the effectiveness of Services.
3. Payment Terms
8. 3.1 Service Fees: Fees for Services are as outlined in your service agreement or invoice. All prices are subject to applicable taxes.
9. 3.2 Payment Due Date: Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice unless otherwise specified. Late payments may incur additional fees.
10. 3.3 Accepted Payment Methods: We accept cash, checks, and major credit/debit cards. Returned checks will incur a processing fee.
11. 3.4 Recurring Services: If enrolled in a recurring service plan, payments will be automatically charged on the agreed-upon schedule unless canceled with prior notice.
12. 3.5 Late Payments: Payments not received within 15 days of the due date will incur a 15% late fee added to the total amount owed. Accounts unpaid after 90 days will be transferred to an outside collections agency, which will apply additional fees.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
13. 4.1 Cancellation: Clients may cancel Services with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may incur a cancellation fee.
14. 4.2 Refunds: Refunds will only be issued if the Company is unable to provide Services as agreed or if a service guarantee is explicitly provided and unmet.
5. Liability and Warranty
15. 5.1 Limited Liability: The Company is not liable for damages caused by pests, treatment failures due to Client noncompliance, or delays caused by unforeseen circumstances.
16. 5.2 Service Guarantee: If a service guarantee is offered, it will be specified in the service agreement. Guarantees are void if the Client does not comply with preparation and post-treatment guidelines.
6. Termination of Services
17. 6.1 The Company reserves the right to terminate Services due to non-payment, Client noncompliance, or unsafe conditions on the property.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located within Chesapeake, Virginia
8. Amendments
The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes.
